So it has taken so much more work to foster relationships in this season of life with our family being so busy and pulled in so many different directions. It is really hard for the kids during the school year to spend time with friends they adore when they don't go to the same school. Time after school is far to packed with piano, ballet, AWANAS, etc to have play dates after school so we have to be purposeful to schedule time on Friday nights or Saturdays.
It is really fun that Gramma and Papa take the "girls" (Kayla and Abigail) or the "boys" (Johnny and Isaac for overnighters while we take the opposite kiddos. It's easier for them because of how well they play without their brother/sister around. Boys will be boys. Girls will be girls.
