Mom got to go with Isaac's 6th grade class to the wetlands and search for macro-invertebrates, test water quality, and plant some bushes and trees to add to the landscape. Isaac and Chris were a good team digging holes. Daddy joined his class the next week to go to the water treatment plant to see how they made water run into drinking water.
Dad had a fun time with Abigail's 4th grade class going to the State Capitol in Salem. He loved the old building and the history lessons. *As bonus fun, they stopped at the Goodwill to try on shoes. They are cut from the same cloth, for sure.
