Nothing like being unplugged and enjoying God's creation and one another. We had a wonderful time in Leavenworth with Gramma and Papa. It was topped off by lots of pool time, card games, gelato, and an amazing German birthday dinner for Amber.

Grants Pass with the Henzies
So it may sound a little crazy to drive 9 hours in 2 days just to see friends for one day, but we say, "TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!" We loved heading down to Grants Pass to visit the Henzie family. We loved seeing how grown up Blake, Mikayla and Connor are, tube down the river together, jump off cliffs into the river, play a big family game of Pictionary with Kim's extended family, and just catch up with being together over dinner and smokes. There is nothing like being together and the drive is ALWAYS worth it!!
In addition to the fun, we stayed at a cool cabin that has a wagon the kids loved to play and imagine in. Abigail said she felt just like Laura Ingalls and her family. She left a sweet note for the owners of the property. :)
