The best highlights of Christmas, besides the amazing celebration of the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ are some thoughtful, meaningful gifts. Gramma outdid herself with the amazing quilts she made for the kids and grandpa Craig reached the depths of my heart when he gave a gift to the poor and needy on my behalf. I cried. I so love the joy of giving to others far beyond anything I could ever receive for myself in a package.

Priceless Prince Picture
Sometimes, the best moments are the REAL moments! Chris takes beautiful pictures of our friends each year, and the cutest ones always get put on the Christmas card but moments like these that capture the real heart and character of the family are the ones that really tell the story.
This is their story...

Official Pictures with SANTA
We got invited to a Christmas party where they paid a Santa to be there for 3 hours and take pictures with all the guests. It was a great experience because the Santa was so awesome looking and animated. He was even really gracious and patient with all of Isaac's questions. Isaac asked the age old questions like, "How do you get around the whole dart delivering in one night?" and "How do you get in without a chimney?" Santa answered creatively and with such a good attitude. Isaac even threw in some whoppers like, "If you give gifts based on kids being naughty or nice...why don't the poor kids or kids who celebrate Hanukkah get gifts from Santa?"
...Oh my boy
They have always known that the Santa guys that we take pictures with were not real, rather just men dressed up for fun and making it special for the kids, but he was putting this guy to the test!!
Abigail was so cute. She thinks it is "awkward" to sit in a random guy's lap (truly, I don't blame her), but she was a trooper as she sat through the multiple pictures the photographer kept taking.
This may be our one and only year of official pictures with Santa.
As a flashback, here in one of Chris and Kevin (about the same ages).
