Elijah's birthday was such a rad party! The weather was terrible, and we were sad for the Springers when we drove up to the park. I told the kids that it didn't matter if they got soaked or muddy, but their only job, in the midst of the rain, was to have fun and make sure Elijah had a good time.
...and a good time they had!!!
The girls helped hide army men and marshmallows for fun games.
The boys, armed with Nerf guns and eye protection, powered through Steve's bootcamp. He had them run through and obstacle course and practice shooting. After bootcamp, they waged war. Turns out, the rain actually made it feel more realistic and made it 10 times more fun and exciting.
