We started adding notes to lunches when Isaac was in first grade, being sure to incorporate works from his "challenge" reading list, to build his reading skills. The notes never stop. Sometimes they have art, sometimes they have jokes/riddles, sometimes they are fun facts, sometimes they have a Bible verse, sometimes it's just an "I love you" or "Have a great day!" It is one of those little things that I hope they remember as one little thing we faithfully did to show our great love for them...
