Universal Studios

The kids asked to have a joint celebration at Universal Studios instead of having individual parties with friends. It was a world-wind, 3 night stay at the Universal City Hilton within walking distance from the park. We took our first ride on Lyft (with a guy who has a guest role on 3 episodes of CSI Miami).

Highlights include:
Both kids being picked to be in Animal Actors show (the dog from A Dog's Purpose even jumped on Isaac's back), a bird flew to Chris to get a dollar from his hand, Abigail's wand chose her at Ollivander's, and all the lines for the rides were only 5-10 minutes. Isaac and Abigail has great bonding time, going on rides over and over, just the two of them.

We had been to Universal Studios before, but they didn’t have The Wizzarding World Of Harry Potter🕯(copyright J.K. Rowling) there yet when we went there last time. Soooo, instead of having birthday parties, we decided to go to Universal Studios as a joint birthday.     Okay, let’s start with all the shows, the first one that we went to was the Animal Actors! They had chickens, rats, cats, dogs, owls 🐓🐁🐹🐶🐱🦉, and many more. Each animal actor was trained to do different things. My my mom was the only person in our family who wasn’t in the show!  Okay, now let’s talk about the rides. There was the minion ride. It was a 3D ride that “turned you into a minion ; )” basically the story was to teach us how to be minions.

Lastly, I want to talk about Harry Potter World.  It was so fun, you didn’t have to wait very long in the lines the longest you had to wait at Harry Potter world was 30 minutes, and that wasn’t even for a ride, the longest ride time in line was 10 minutes.  The 30 minute line was for a attraction called Ollivanders, where you can see a person get their wand picked. And, guess what???? I got picked to be picked!!! So the story goes like this. A group of people go into a small room with fake wand boxes on the walls. Then, this person comes in and say something like “the wandmaker is ready.” The group goes into this dimly lit room. As this whole thing is happening, I am sneeking my way to the front. Then, the person who is suppose to be the wandmaker, says “There is a strong magic in this room, it’s coming from... you,” as she says pointing at ME!!!! She asks me questions like what my name was and things like that then she gives me a wand to try, the first wand doesn’t work, neither does the second, the third wand works though. Then my family gets to come up and she asks their names. After that, of corse, we get the wand.

   The Harry Potter rides!!!! The first ride is called the flight of the Hippogriff. It fas a family coaster. Then is the forbidden journey, it was a awesome ride that was a  simulator that changed from  anima Tronics, to screens. It was the best ride in the whole park!!!!
