Thanks 81/365

I am so grateful to be able to participate in so many areas of my kid's life. Homeschool is not a good fit for our family, but mom at the school (and daddy too) works out super well. Today Abigail and I  were able to experience a field trip together. Because her third grade class has been learning about Portland, they went on a guided walking tour of downtown. We say statues, theaters, roses, buildings, and even the actual penny used in a coin toss by Asa Lovejoy of Boston, Massachusetts, and William Pettygrove of Portland, Maine to name the city Portand (which was called The Clearing or Stumptown in its early days). It's also and extra blessing that Abigail's teacher loves Jesus.
